Did someone get my memo...

That details all the things from my misspent youth that I want to see more done with?

I confess to a love of the theatre... more so to a love of musicals. But sadly, I have never been able to afford tickets to a Broadway show. I actually considered shelling out the month's rent it would have taken for me and a friend to go see the original cast of Spamalot, but decided that having a roof over my head was slightly more important.

THIS, however... I will gladly give my left arm, my first born, and a significant portion of my frontal lobe to go see. I am a huge fan of the movie and it's creator... and that alone is reason enough.

As a consultant of a soon-to-be-published genealogical writer, I have a simple solution for you...

Ask me for a cash advance.

It is what consultants do for those times when the idea just hits their creative heads so that they don't wait on a pay schedule. And get to be on call when needed.
So that if, say, I get that issue of New Orleans Genesis in the mail soon I can have you put up the article...

[And then maybe you take half of the advance you ask for and put it away in some interest-bearing account. Which lets you recompute the amount you ask for. Yes, brilliant. I know.]

Next time you are in New York, try a ticket lottery. I got front row tickets to Wicked for $25 each! Next time I went, I got loge tickets to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for around $25 too. Playbill keeps a list of which shows do lotteries and what their rules are. There's no guarantee you'll get a ticket, but I've gotten them both times I tried.
